Upon arrival, you will be met and privately transferred to El Fuerte, the charming colonial gateway to the Copper Canyon. Day 2. To the Copper Canyon

After breakfast, head to the train station to board the Chihuahua al Pacific El Chepe train for the journey trip into the Sierra Madre. This first-class train travels through dozens of tunnels and over countless bridges with exceptional opportunities for taking pictures or just enjoying the view. Upon arrival, it’s a short, 15-minute transfer to your incredible hotel, the only property that offers sweeping views of the canyon from each and every room. Day 3. To Creel

After breakfast, return the train station to board El Chepe for your scenic journey to Creel, an old frontier logging and mining town at the heart of the Copper Canyon region. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Day 4. To Batopilas

Descend the rugged switchbacks into the depths of Batopilas Canyon, passing through the Copper and La Bufa canyons. Arriving at Batopilas, check in to your gorgeous hacienda, a perfect base for exploring this historic mining outpost. Day 5. Batopilas

Savor a full day in this incredible town. Day 6. To Creel

After an early breakfast, embark upon the incredible climb, by van, out of the Batopilas Canyon up a spectacular array of switchbacks back to Creel, where you have the afternoon free to relax or explore town. You may choose to visit the local crafts cooperative or make an optional visit to the nearby hot springs. Day 7. To Chihuahua
Enjoy the morning at leisure before departing Creel for Chihuahua. The afternoon is free for relaxing or visiting some of the fascinating museums and historical sites of this important cultural and economic center of northwestern Mexico.
